TCL's 65-inch Series 6 TV is seeing a hefty price drop at Best Buy. Normally $699.99, it's now $594.99 if you use the offer code TCLDOLBY15 at checkout (underneath where you put in your credit card number for the payment). This is the 2019 version of TCL's 6 Series; its 2018 version was considered by my colleague Chris Welch to be the best 4K TV that you could buy for under $1,000. We haven't had a chance to extensively test this newer model, but it looks like it checks all of the same boxes, like the inclusion of Roku software out of the box, and there are some new features as...

This 65″ 4K Roku TV is so cheap on Amazon right now, it seems like someone screwed up

14 days ago - By TheBoyGeniusReport

OK seriously, it sure seems like someone screwed up over at Amazon and doubled up the discounts on the TCL 65" Class 6-Series 4K UHD QLED Dolby Vision HDR Roku Smart TV when he or she was just supposed to use one discount. This huge, stunning Roku-equipped television is one of the best models TCL makes, and it retails for $1,100. We can totally see Amazon offering a coupon you can clip to get $105 off. We can also see the site offering a huge $400 discount for a special occasion like a Super Bowl sale. But both discounts at the same time to drop this awesome TV to just $594.99?! That can't...

You can now test out new experimental features by enabling them under Labs in the Google app.
The first two new features to try out are "pinch to zoom" and screenshot editing.

Panasonic HZ2000 TV initial review: The GZ2000 form continues, but now with even more picture options

    14 days ago - By Pocket-lint

While the majority of the TV industry is barking on about 8K and micro-led, Panasonic has taken a more traditional approach with its latest flagship TV, the HZ2000. Unveiled at CES, Pocket-lint was one of the first publications in the UK to get eyes on the new TV, but is it something that you should be putting on your shopping list? Available in 65- and 55-inch sizes the HZ2000 follows on from the company's 2019 flagship, the GZ2000 , and in fact keeps a few of the 2019 model's features with Panasonic believing that it didn't need to update everything this time around. What is new is a new...

Surprise Amazon sale drops the Fire TV Stick to just $35

14 days ago - By TheBoyGeniusReport

There is a crazy sale going on right now at Amazon that slashes the $50 Fire TV Stick 4K down to just $24.99 with coupon code 4KFIRETV, matching Amazon's all-time low price from Black Friday. But there's one big problem with this deal: it's only available to certain people, and Amazon doesn't explain eligibility requirements at all on the terms and conditions page. If you're eligible for that deal, definitely get one ASAP before the discount disappears. But if you're not eligible, then there's another deal that just popped up and it's open to everyone. Hurry and you can snag a best-selling...

HD has arrived at Now TV - you can now stream in 1080p with Now TV Boost

14 days ago - By TechRadar

Two years of teasing and Now finally did it - in case you haven't heard, you can now stream your favourite Now TV content in HD. It's all thanks to the streaming platform's Now TV Boost bolt-on, which you can add to your Sky Cinema, Entertainment, Sky Sports, or Kids Pass. This does come at an extra cost however, as you'll have to pay an extra £3 on top of your selected pass - meaning that if you're paying £8.99 for your Entertainment pass, the HD quality would push your total to £11.99 a month. But given that Now TV allows you to get a free trial of its passes though and theBoost upgrade...
