Samsung debuted its first Android Go smartphone, the Galaxy J2 Core back in August, but the device has yet to be introduced in the United States. Today, the South Korean handset maker silently unveiled its second Android Go phone - the Galaxy J4 Core, a slightly better-specced version of the Galaxy J2 Core.
Although the hardware is nothing to write home about, Android Go changes things a bit since the piece of software was specifically designed for entry-level phones like the Galaxy J2 Core and Galaxy J4 Core.
Since Android Oreo and Android Pie require a better hardware to run smoothly, ...

Galaxy S10 won't have the all-screen design you want, but it'll get the best next thing

Samsung earlier this week unveiled the evolution of its Infinity displays designs, including screen versions for future Samsung phones with notch designs, the foldable phone's Infinity Flex display , as well as an exciting “New Infinity” screen I hoped we'd see on the Galaxy S10 next year. It turns out, however, that the dream of having phones with true all-screen designs will have to wait at least one more year, as that technology isn't yet ready. That doesn't mean the Galaxy S10 will have a notch at the top, just that it'll get the next best thing instead of a true all-screen design, as...

There's no denying 2018 has been the year of display notches but, moving into 2019, it appears the next trend may be display cut-outs. And just days after Samsung announced its new Infinity-O panel, Huawei has been granted a patent which is related to a similar concept.

However, when it comes to Huawei's concept, this circular hole is swapped out for one that is shaped just like an in-ear speaker. Presumably, this would then be used to house the ...

Samsung's complete vision for future Infinity Display designs
Samsung is currently exploring many different ways to reorganize a mobile device business that's started to struggle under pressure from ambitious China-based rivals, as well as modernize the look of its flagship phones and pioneer revolutionary foldable products.
But for the time being, it remains unclear exactly when and where we'll see the company's four new Infinity Display approaches implemented. The Galaxy S10 could adopt a controversial Infinity-O design, with two other ...
