5 monthes ago - By Android Headlines

A variant of the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star that is identified by the model number SM-G885F/DS has passed through the certification process of the Wi-Fi Alliance. This is the same model of the Galaxy A8 Star that has been certified recently by the Federal Communications Commission. Even though the certification of the Wi-Fi Alliance did not extensively detail the specifications of the upcoming device, the organization confirms that the Galaxy A8 Star will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo pre-installed, although it is likely that the device maker's proprietary skin will run on top of Google's...

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Gets Certified By Bluetooth SIG

5 monthes ago - By Android Headlines

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is apparently drawing nearer to market debut as the tablet was recently approved by Bluetooth SIG. The application refers to the tablet by both its marketing moniker as well as the already-familiar model number SM-T835, so if there was still any doubt that the SM-T835 will hit the shelves as a direct sequel to the Galaxy Tab S3 then the application at hand should have dispelled them.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 was approved by Bluetooth SIG earlier today - May 15 - and although no exact hardware components were revealed, the application suggests that the slate will...

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 name confirmed; launch imminent following certification

    5 monthes ago - By Pocket-lint

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S4 has managed to remain largely leak-free. The last murmurings we heard were back in February, when it was suggested it would launch at MWC. That obviously didn't happen, but an official launch may now not be too far off. The Tab S4 has already passed through Wi-Fi certification, earlier this month, but now it has passed through Bluetooth certification too. This suggests a launch could be very soon. The Bluetooth filing has also confirmed the Galaxy Tab S4 name. The filing mentions the upcoming tablet will feature Bluetooth 5.0, meaning it will use the...
