    Oppo will show its first foldable smartphone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2019. The confirmation comes straight from Oppo's Product Manager Chuck Wang.
    While he didn't disclose any specifics about the foldable phone, Wang has mentioned that Oppo will deliver a 5G smartphone in 2020 and will also aim to release its first phone with a display cutout in 2020.
    Foldable phones will likely prove a key focus in 2019. Samsung already provided a glimpse of its Galaxy F foldable smartphone and is expected to give it more screen time at the MWC in February.

    Oppo has revealed it would be showing off its foldable smartphone at Mobile World Congress in 2019, Tweakers reports. In June, Gizmochina reported that Oppo patented a number of foldable smartphone designs including one that folded out to thrice the size of its original display screen.     Yet another foldable phone is on the way, and this time it's set to come from Chinese manufacturer Oppo. The company confirmed the device in an interview with Dutch website Tweakers and said that we'll hear all about it early next year. Chuck Wang, product manager at Oppo, specifically said the device would be unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2019. That's set to take place from February 25-28. Many manufacturers announce devices in the couple of days leading up to the event, so it may be just before the actual MWC show that we hear from Oppo on its first foldable device.
