    We were able to test out the best Android P immediately after the Google IO 2018 keynote and, compared to last year's Android Oreo , this is a huge jump forward. Sure, it's fair to expect a few visual tweaks year-over-year.     Google has just introduced its new Android platform for smartphones, but the new OS won't be released until later this year. Even so, the previous version, Android Oreo isn't used by a large audience, which was to be expected if you look back at how things evolved in the last couple of years.

    Android distribution numbers for May 2018 have been released by Google and show that 5.7-percent of devices are now running Android Oreo.
