    Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have started developing a Space Invaders sci-fi action film project that will be based on the classic 1978 arcade game from Taito. The studio has gone ahead and hired Greg Russo to write the script. He recently wrote the James Wan 's Mortal Kombat movie, which is set up at WB as well, so the studio obviously liked what he delivered with that. Akiva Goldsman is also set to produce.     People on the internet were not happy with how Sonic the Hedgehog looked in the first trailer for the upcoming Sonic film. The design used elements of the classic Sonic design but largely went in a new direction that some found creepy, and fans let their voices be heard. In response, Paramount announced that it would delay the movie by about three months to implement a new look for the super-fast hedgehog.
